If you want to work in politics surely it doesn’t matter what you major or minor in — politics isn’t a skilled trade so to speak. Though it would be helpful to get a law degree.

There are exceptions of course but in general politicians are the stupidest people you will ever encounter. You will be astonished how very, very inferior they are to just about every other mind you will ever meet.
