B. asked:
I am doing a project for R.E and was wondering what part religion does play in injustice.
It would also be very helpful if you could give me a few references to Christianity and Islam as well please.

Failed Experiment
A better question is, “What role does religion play in fostering injustice?”.
religion
Fighting injustice was what Jesus was all about. Those who follow his teachings make every effort to level the playing field for the poor and downtrodden. See the Beatitudes from the Sermon on the Mount in the Book of Matthew (one source: ).
The unfortunate side of the fight for injustice among the followers of Jesus is that often, they do not see themselves accurately and thus accept society’s norms and mores rather than thinking for themselves, looking at what the culture accepts as normal that’s really injustice, and saying, “Hey! That ain’t right!”
Someone else will have to support Islam.

We had that exact question
You could mention specific charities: who combat the injustice of poverty.
Catholic: CAFOD
Islam: Islamic Relief
Or mention specific people throughout history: Mother Teresa, Ghandi, Martin Luther King. etc.
Saying what their Holy Books state about injustice, and how followers are supposed to treat fellow human beings could also be relevant. “Treat others as you would like to be treated”, from Christianity. That sort of thing.
Everyone is different, but equal in the eyes of Allah.
Hence, Muslims/Christians are meant to work as communities to aid those in need, as a rule of the religion.
