Christians don’t always shove religion down peoples throats, and it’s rude to generalize that. Modern day culture is to keep beliefs to yourself, and so when someone speaks out about their personal faith, they are immediately said to be a religion freak ready to damn everyone else to hell. That’s not the truth at all.

How about Communists who demand that their religion must be the only one?

And as to Christianity, if someone is shoving it down your throat, that is not consistent with the Bible, but doing so with other religions IS consistent with their texts.

As far as religions go, Christianity is by far the most successful proselytizer, but Islam and Buddhism have historically also been quite successful movements. As for threatening non-believers with damnation, other religions are often not quite so prone to the fire and brimstone, although most mainstream Christian sects attempt to preach love and tolerance (like Jesus). Any number of religions, spiritual groups, and non-religious belief systems have decried the beliefs of others as leading to doom or eternal torture, but few are as well known for doing so as Christianity.

Atheist shove there religion into textbooks and say the earth is millions of years old. What better way to ruin child’s faith then to lie in a textbook that there is not God. Then you get Islam and there convert or die. Same goes for many Catholics.

Your right. Christianity is the only religion that says if you don’t accept their teaching and accept Jesus as your lord and savior you are going to burn in hell for all eternity.

Every other religion out there and every other person out there other Jews, Muslims, and the rest of the religious people other than a Christian following Christianity all believe that God will judge each and every person on what kind of life they led. Except of course for the people who don’t believe in any God.

Christians want a family community so bad.

They actually need a relationship with a man, son of God, to explain to them how to be proper, and give hope and forgiveness b/c their families are too small to extend more people than parents (busy) or annoying siblings (hate you).
