If healthcare reform passes businesses will save a crapload on healthcare expenses. I could forsee that offsetting any tax increase.

Yes..the tax increase is intended to make them spend less on healthcare for their employees, which costs twice as much as Canada. How is that good for business?

This can be achieved with a non govt takeover. Allowing free market to take care of it, and stop requiring employers buying the care , will drive the costs down. Allowing competition between states will drive the cost down. And allowing a tax deduction for those treated who cant afford the health care , will take care of that problem as well. We are fighting against big govt. Every programm they run is innoficient, bankrupt and a burden on taxpayers
